Culinary Destination

  • The Michelin Guide features H Street’s Stable DC and awarded the 2021 Bib Gourmand to Fancy Radish, Cane, Toki Underground, and Maketto.
  • Newcomers include Kitchen Cray Café (Southern), Butter Chicken Company (Indian fast-casual), Kitsuen (ramen bar), Milk & Honey (soul food), Mozzeria Pizza, and Smokin’ PIG BBQ; and Tigo’s Peruvian Express.

Development

  • Seven|H (646-654 H Street NE) arrived in early 2020 with 23 condos and 14,000 SF of retail while incorporating parts of existing buildings onsite.
  • AVEC (901 H Street NE) delivered 419 multifamily units, 44,000 SF of retail, and three levels of below- grade parking in mid-2020.
  • Fortitude at Delta Towers (808 Bladensburg Road NE) opened in late 2020 with 179 affordable units for seniors, along with retail and a below-grade garage.
  • Ashton Park (920 H Street NE) will restore the Parks Hardware building façade and deliver ground floor restaurant/retail space, in addition to ten short-term rentals ranging from a studio to a 2-BR/2-bath penthouse.
  • 1200 Bladensburg Road will
    have ground-floor retail and 37 condos (studios and 1- and 2-BR units), as well as a green roof and other energy-efficient features, when it arrives in 2022.
