The Washington, DC Global Soft Landing Program provides companies with a flexible, discounted real estate solution. Program participants will land at WeWork, a premium coworking space located at 1701 Rhode Island Avenue NW. WeWork is located in the heart of Washington, DC’s bustling Golden Triangle neighborhood, just blocks from the White House.

Eligibility
- Strong, verified interest in establishing a presence in Washington, DC within the next 12 months.
- Company will have at least one full-time employee physically staffed at the soft landing space for the duration of program participation.
- Must commit to a minimum of 3 months in the soft landing space.
- Proven ability to pay rent.

- Participate in orientation upon arrival in soft landing space.
- Maintain regular communication with Washington, DC Global Soft Landing Program partners, including progress updates on U.S. growth plans.
- Participate in ongoing program networking and community events.
- Collaborate on press release to announce participation in the Washington, DC Global Soft Landing Program.
Are there costs associated with the program?
There is no cost to apply or participate in the Washington, DC Global Soft Landing Program.
Participants are responsible for paying for their below market-rate, flexible lease at the designated landing spot for program participants, as well as general operating costs of opening a business, and relocation costs for employees.
What information is needed to submit an application?
- Business plan indicating further growth considerations for Washington, DC
- Name, Title, and plan for authorization to work in the US, for all employees participating in the Washington, DC Global Soft Landing Program
- Desired start date
- Description of real estate needs (e.g., how many desks, shared or private office space, desired length of lease term)
