The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP), with support from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), seeks a qualified consultant to conduct a citywide Retail Study.
The study will:
- Assess current and emerging retail trends across Washington, DC.
- Evaluate opportunities and challenges in the District’s retail market.
- Provide insights to guide retail attraction, retention, and neighborhood revitalization.
- Inform policies and investment strategies that strengthen DC’s position as a competitive, vibrant, and business-friendly market.
The final deliverables will help shape retail attraction efforts, support the District’s growth agenda, and ensure that retail continues to play a vital role in the city’s economy and neighborhoods.
