DC Stories: Little Sesame

How many scoops of hummus does it take to put a smile on someone’s face? Such a riddle could only be answered by the founding trio of the locally beloved Little Sesame.

Known for their natural ingredients and mouth watering menu, the district’s friendly neighborhood restaurant was founded by Nick Wiseman, David Wiseman & Ronen Tenne in a 500 sq ft basement space in Washington, DC in 2015. Since then Little Sesame has exploded on the Chinatown and Golden Triangle scene.

Besides their love of food and travel Nick, David, and Ronen prioritize being good neighbors to the communities they’ve embedded in. Back in March, they transitioned their shop into a community kitchen and launched Meals For The City to serve their neighbors hit hardest by the pandemic.
