District of Columbia Enacts $100 Million Grant Program for Businesses Hurt by COVID-19
DC commits additional $100 million grant for local businesses to support the local economy. The $100 million grant will be made available in addition to the $33 million in “microgrants” that the city awarded to businesses in July. This is the largest effort yet in the region to accelerate recovery efforts. Read More

The District Announces $66M in Affordable Housing Investments to 10 projects
The DC government is funding the production and preservation of affordable housing units with the $66M investment from its Housing Production Trust Fund. This investment signifies the District’s continued effort to create an inclusive and equitable city by adding and preserving affordable housing. Read More

Dulles Airport Adds Non-stop Flights to Multiple Domestic and International Destinations
Air carriers at Dulles International provide air service to 56 non-stop international destinations and 88 non-stop U.S. destinations. Serving more than 24.7 million passengers in 2019, Dulles offers travelers 47 percent more non-stop destinations than any other airport in the region, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Non-stop air service to new and expanded international destinations in 2020 will include Spain, Poland, Switzerland, and Japan. Read More
