WDCEP’s 2009 Neighborhood Retail Opportunities Book Released

On May 18th, the WDCEP’s 2009 Neighborhood Retail Opportunities book will be released at ICSC: RECon in Las Vegas, NV. This year’s edition features roughly 280 sites in 30 DC neighborhoods, representing 5.8 million sq. ft. of available retail sq. ft.

In addition to the catalogue of available retail space, the book also features a “Vision for the City” section–with photos and renderings of projects that will be coming to DC in the next 5-10 years—and an overview of DC which includes city demographics, development trends, and a list of 2008 restaurant and retail leases. This year’s appendix features an abundance of DC resources as well as incentives for conducting your business in Washington, DC.

The publication will be available at the WDCEP office (1495 F St. N.W., Washington, DC, 20004) and/or can be downloaded from our website beginning Monday, May 18th.
