WDCEP Undertakes a Comprehensive Site Location Survey
This summer, the Washington, DC Economic Partnership has acquired four interns to complete our first ever comprehensive site location survey. Our interns are canvassing the city’s commercial corridors-photographing and recording information on occupied and vacant mixed-use, retail, and commercial storefronts.
From Wisconsin Avenue to Rhode Island Avenue to South Capitol Street, our interns are focusing their efforts on corridors not covered by an existing neighborhood BID or CID. Utilizing new cameras with built-in GPS technology, our goal is to have the city’s first comprehensive site database which will continue to be updated throughout the year.
Our interns are Adam Young, a rising-senior at The George Washington University; Dave Clark, a rising-sophomore at Utah Valley University; Matt Kruczlnicki, a rising-senior at Providence College; and Sam Prendergast, a rising-junior at Boston College.
