WDCEP to Release 2013 DC Development Report at AMDS13

The WDCEP will be releasing its highly anticipated DC Development Report: 2013 Edition at the Partnership’s Annual Meeting & Development Showcase on Friday, November 15th. The report is an annual publication that gives a comprehensive overview of development and construction activity in the District of Columbia. For many years now, the DC Development Report has been a tool used by public officials, developers, brokers and investors looking to inform their clients and constituents about the development occurring in the District. This year’s report not only comprehensively summarizes DC’s development activity, but also highlights development trends seen in DC over the past 13 years.

For the 2013/2014 Edition, the WDCEP partnered with CBRE to include analysis of the overall DC economy, as well as insight into the office, retail and residential markets. The WDCEP also is proud to have WC Smith sponsor the cover of the DC Development Report and showcase its 800 New Jersey Avenue, SE development that will be anchored by a 35,000 sq. ft. Whole Foods in 2016/2017.

The information found in the DC Development Report is the result of WDCEP’s annual development census (conducted in August, 2013) which compiles research and data from more than 135 developers, architects, contractors and economic development organizations each year.
