WDCEP to Host Strategic Franchising Workshop

September 3rd, 2014

Franchising is a powerful business model used by over a million businesses in the U.S. However, in order to achieve long term success, a franchise must be a “win-win” for both the franchisor and the franchisee. This unique workshop will explore how to create a strategic path towards becoming a franchisee and how to take a business concept through the franchise process. In addition, our distinguished presenter will provide a detailed workbook for each attendee to refer to during the seminar and as a resource guide after the seminar. Whether you are a business owner who wants to franchise your concept, or an entrepreneur who wants to get behind a franchise concept…this event is for you!

Join the Washington, DC Economic Partnership and Dr. Ben Litalien, Founder and Principal of Franchise Well Consulting and Adjunct Instructor & Program Advisor of the Franchise Management Certificate Program at Georgetown University on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for an in depth session on franchising.

Litalien has invested over two decades in the franchise community, with a broad range of key management and franchise-building experience. His specific strengths are in strategic planning, organizational development, concept management, and franchise system growth. He has developed and implemented strategic plans for a diverse group of companies including a major oil company, quick serve concepts including a sandwich and catering franchise and a national franchiser of food court cafes. Under his direction and management, he forged significant expansion in the United States and abroad, as well as increasing brand awareness and improving profitability.
