WDCEP to Examine Labor Laws and the Search for Talent in June Entrepreneur Road Map Event
June 4, 2014
In order to hire qualified employees, companies must consider a wide variety of traits, such as skill level, job flexibility, and experience. However, finding talent is only the first step in the recruitment process; companies must also understand the relevant labor laws concerning the governance of employees. The June edition of the WDCEP Entrepreneur Road Map series will cover the resources available to entrepreneurs from the local government as well as tips and advice from local business owners who are seeking talent and navigating the complexities of labor laws.
Tom Harrington, principal of the Employment Law Group, will discuss the employment laws of Washington, DC that all employers and employees should be familiar with.
