Washington DC Economic Partnership Releases Neighborhood Profiles

Economic & demographic updates on 55 commercial corridors & neighborhoods

March 3, 2020 (Washington, DC) – The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) has released the latest edition of their signature publication, 2020 DC Neighborhood Profiles; an annual summary of 55 neighborhoods & commercial corridors in our nation’s capital

Highlights from this year’s Profiles include:

  • Updated neighborhood demographics
  • Major retail & restaurant openings in 2019, by neighborhood
  • Top retail development projects under construction
  • Major local industries & employment data for select neighborhoods
  • Unique aerial / drone imagery for select neighborhoods

WDCEP tracks various economic indicators during the year such as major development projects, new business openings, and other major neighborhood investments that are incorporated into the publication. In addition, WDCEP works with numerous community partners such as Main Streets and BIDs to verify that the content is up-to-date.
