WDCEP RELEASES 2006 NEIGHBORHOOD RETAIL OPPORTUNITES GUIDE

Washington, DC- Retailers looking to locate to Washington, DC now have an updated tool for site searching. The Washington, DC Economic Partnership’s 2006 Neighborhood Retail Opportunities guide features 185 available retail sites.

The guide provides population, demographic and household characteristic information for 28 neighborhoods in the District including the Mt. Vernon Triangle, Shaw and Columbia Heights. Available retail sites listed contain the address of the property, the square footage, date of delivery and broker contact information.

Also featured is a section titled, “Vision for the City.” This section provides a concise overview of the plans for the future development of Washington, DC and how the city’s development dynamic will transform neighborhoods and the waterfront shopping, dining and leisure destinations.
