WDCEP Launches Entrepreneur Roadmap Series

January 10, 2014

The New Year brings a new brand! The WDCEP has recently launched the Entrepreneur Roadmap Series, formerly known as Doing Business 2.0. The series is a program designed to help and guide business owners and entrepreneurs on the various components of doing business in the District.

Washington DC offers incredible opportunities for entrepreneurs to start a business. The support system that is available here is vast and diverse. Whether this is your first venture or an expansion to an existing venture there are systems set in place to help you succeed. However, like in any enterprise, one needs to have a plan in order to be successful. In the first session of the year, WDCEP will present the roadmap to follow when starting a business in DC. The speakers will talk about business planning as well as share their personal story of how they got started; from where they were to where they are today, and how they became successful.

Join us on Wednesday, January 15, 2013 for a session on Starting your Business in DC. The event will be held at Venable, LLP located at 575 7th street, NW. from 9:00am – 10:30am.

A few years after returning to the mainland, working in a few cafes and roasting on the side, Mr. Vigilante decided that D.C. was the perfect place to start Vigilante Coffee Company.
