WDCEP Annual Report Released

The Washington, DC Economic Partnership’s (WDCEP) 2010 Annual Report demonstrates  its commitment to the District of Columbia this last year and celebrates the organization’s past 10 years of work.  Since its inception, the WDCEP has told the story of Washington’s resurgence and has branded the District as the premiere location for business and innovation.

Featured in the report are the three major themes of the WDCEP’s recently launched website—Learn, Explore, Interact—and how these are demonstrated through WDCEP’s programs, publications, and research.  Also highlighted in the report is “The Power of 10,” which features the WDCEP’s major accomplishments over the past 10 years, including the $100,000 Business Plan Competition and Small Business Awards Program, and the writing of a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.

The 2010 Annual Report shows that whether one plans to start a District-based business, make their existing business more competitive, connect to development and retail opportunities, or access research to make better-informed decisions, the WDCEP should be thought of as the economic development resource.  Download the Report
