WDCEP Able to Expand its Outreach to Small Businesses Thanks to NIF Grant
A grant from the Neighborhood Investment Fund has allowed WDCEP to expand its sought after Doing Business in Washington, DC guide to include Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese editions. The grant is an annual, non-lapsing fund to finance economic development and neighborhood revitalization in 12 targeted areas of the District. Target areas include: Columbia Heights, Shaw, Logan Circle, Brightwood and Upper Georgia Avenue, Bloomingdale and Eckington, Brookland and Edgewood, Deanwood, Anacostia, Congress Heights, Bellevue and Washington Highlands. WDCEP will host workshops about doing business in the District in these communities in early 2009.
