Two Companies Celebrate Milestones with Store Openings in Downtown DC
In the past week, T.J. Maxx and Leica Store Washington DC opened the doors to their Downtown DC locations while celebrating significant milestones in their companies’ histories.
On April 25th, T.J. Maxx, one of the largest off-price department stores in the U.S. celebrated the opening of their 1,000th store, located in downtown DC at 601 13th Street, NW. The retailer is known for offering current-season, on-trend brand name fashion and designer merchandise at heavily discounted prices. The new store is expected to bring approximately 60 full- and part-time jobs to the District while also adding a new shopping destination downtown for the value-conscious DC residents and visitors.
This week, Leica Camera Inc., an exclusive retailer of photographic equipment will open Leica Store Washington DC – their first retail location in North America – at 917 F. Street NW. The store will feature a product showroom, image gallery, and an S2 demo area where customers will have the opportunity to try out the company’s groundbreaking camera system.
