Tivoli Theater Opens with a GALA

On Friday, January 7, the Tivoli Theater opened its doors to the public for the first time in more than 30 years.

The theater’s new tenant, the GALA Hispanic Theatre celebrated the new space with 300 guests that included DC Councilmembers Linda Cropp, Jim Graham and Carol Schwartz, community and business leaders and actress Rita Moreno.

The GALA Theatre is a 250-seat, state-of-the-art performance space that will feature Hispanic plays and dance troops.
