Think Local First and the WDCEP Partner on Program for Aspiring DC Restaurant Owners
Tomorrow, April 3, Think Local First in partnership with the WDCEP, ROC-DC, and Live Green will be hosting a day-long program teaching aspiring restaurant owners how to launch and operate a restaurant in DC. The program is designed to provide the attendees with the critical knowledge needed to succeed in the District through multiple expert panel discussions and networking opportunities. Participants can expect lively, engaging, and thought provoking sessions on:
- Nuts and Bolts of Getting Started
- Financing, Leases and Build Out
- Creating, Branding, & Marketing Creative Concepts
- Greening Your Restaurant Plan – On and Off the Place
- With or Without Chefs
- How to Hire the Attract and Retain the Right Staff
- Doing Business Locally
Joining members of Think Local First’s Board of Directors will be the WDCEP’s President & CEO, Keith Sellars, to share his expertise on DC’s vibrant neighborhoods and how restaurateurs can find space in the city.
