Sustainability, Innovation Key Features for AMDS10
Celebrating 10 years of success in the District of Columbia, the Washington, DC Economic Partnership is hosting its 2010 Annual Meeting and Development Showcase (AMDS10) at the Washington Convention Center this fall, on November, 19, 2010.
The Washington, DC Economic Partnership’s Annual Meeting draws up to 1,000 attendees each year and the event focuses the entire business community on the DC economy, its health and issues.
This year’s Annual Meeting will feature a keynote address by Roger E. Frechette III, PE, LEED-AP, President of PostivEnergy Practice LLC. Roger is a registered professional engineer with 22 years of experience. Roger’s recent projects include the 71-story Pearl River Tower in Guangzhou, China, which will be the most energy efficient tall building in the world, upon completion in October of 2010, and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, currently the world’s tallest building and man-made structure.
Featured at this year’s Development Showcase will be Tesla Motors, which will have on display its Roadster that features 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, 245 miles per charge and 0 emissions.
