SBIR Introduction & Best Practices Seminar – NIDRR
DSLBD is hosting a meeting to allow participants to learn the best practices for successfully participating in the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program. NIDRR funds projects that address the needs of individuals with disabilities. This is a great way to get additional funding for a current project while finding ways to make products more accessible for people with disabilities.
This SBIR allows you to provide guidance on the topic and Phase I winners are eligible for up to $75,000.
This meeting will be led by the NDIRR SBIR Program Office and will give participants a chance to hear directly from the office about how best to develop winning proposals.
It is highly recommended to review the NDIRR solicitation released and review the instructions on page 26. Companies need to register with the Federal Government in order to compete and registration can take some time. The solicitation can be downloaded here.
