RFQ for Master Development Services for Walter Reed MC

The Government of the District of Columbia, through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified real estate development teams to respond to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the disposition and development of 66.57 acres located on the property formerly known as the Walter Reed Army Medical Center upon the District’s planned acquisition of the Site from the United States Government.

DMPED invites qualified “Master Developers” to respond to this RFQ for the redevelopment of the Site in Northwest Washington, D.C., through the adaptive reuse of existing historical structures and new construction. Through this RFQ, the District is seeking to prequalify a limited number of Respondents who will be invited to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP) process that is expected to commence in the second quarter of the 2013 calendar year. There will be a Pre-Response Conference and Site Visit held at the Site on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
