The Government of the District of Columbia (the “District”), through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (“DMPED”), seeks to develop Parcels F-1 & G-1 in Hill East District (the “Development Site”) as a vibrant, mixed-use urban waterfront community:

Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) for Parcels F-1 and G-1 Hill East District Redevelopment (Phase I)*

DMPED invites qualified Development Teams (“Respondents”) to respond to this Request for Expressions of Interest (“RFEI”) for the disposition and development of the Development Site pursuant to a fee simple transfer, ground lease or other disposition structure.

Submission Requirements:
Detailed submission guidelines and requirements for the development team respondents are outlined in the RFEI, available online and at the Issuing Office at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 317, Washington, DC 20004.

Pre-Response Conference Details
The Pre-Response Conference will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Department of Corrections Training Academy (Formerly DC General Hospital), 1901 D Street, SE, Room 1340, Washington, DC. Please enter the former hospital campus at 19th and C Streets, SE. Commuting via Metro is advised, and steps from the RFK/Stadium-Armory metro entrance on the blue and orange lines will lead you directly on to the campus. Guests who drive to the event will be able to park on the campus by making a left at the first stop sign and heading past the Protective Services Division parking lot as directed to a special visitor parking area. All guests will enter the pre-response conference via the Department of Corrections Video Visitation Center entrance and proceed with a staff escort to Room 1340.
