Recycle Your Computers With Goodwill…For Free!

While Goodwill of Greater Washington has always accepted used computers to resell in its retail stores, the charitable agency recently launched a partnership with Dell that not only generates more revenue to fund Goodwill’s job training programs for people with disabilities and disadvantages, but will also help the environment by recycling old computers.

The initiative, known as the RECONNECT Program, allows Goodwill to accept any brand of computer and computer equipment, in working condition or not! The computers and parts will be sold to Dell who will recycle and repurpose them, keeping every donated computer and related part out of local landfills.

All proceeds from the sale of the donated computers to Dell will support Goodwill’s job training mission, and these donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Visit your nearest Goodwill donation site to take advantage of this innovative, eco-friendly opportunity! For more information, visit www.dcgoodwill.org or call (202) 636-4225.
