NCRC to Develop McMillan Site

The National Capital Revitalization Corporation (NCRC)will develop the 25-acre McMillan Reservoir sand filtration site in Northwest.

The site was provided to NCRC as payment for the properties it gave to the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation.

NCRC relinquishes holdings along the Washington Channel in Southwest in exchange for a consolation package by DC that includes $25 million in cash and $24.5 million in various city-owned properties around Mount Vernon Triangle, Georgia Avenue and other areas.

NCRC is also redeveloping the old Wax Museum site at 5th and K streets NW,sites in Columbia Heights and the Skyland Shopping Center in Southeast.
