Mentor Spotlight: Aimee Dobrzeniecki, Principle, Innovation Policyworks LLC
Aimee Dobrzeniecki is an expert in manufacturing technology and innovation systems with an impressive 20+ years of experience working as the Deputy Director of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership.
In this role, through the U.S. Department of Commerce, Aimee worked on ground weapons systems development for the Department of Army Tank-Automotive Command, and for the IIT Research Institute in Chicago. Aimee has also been specifically selected to work detail assignments providing policy advice for the executive level of the federal government including the Department of Commerce and the Executive Office of the President.
In 2005, Aimee was recognized for her work by receiving the George A. Uriano Award from the National Institute of Standards & Technology. The award is given to candidates who have strengthened NIST’s external partnerships by fostering U.S. competitiveness and business excellence.
She received her MBA from George Washington University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
