Katharine Weymouth to Provide Remarks at AMDS 08

Please join the Washington, DC Economic Partnership on Thursday, October 2, 2008 for the 7th Annual Meeting and Development Showcase at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Katharine Weymouth, chief executive officer of Washington Post Media and publisher of The Washington Post, will provide remarks. Weymouth is the granddaughter of the late Washington Post Co. chairman Katharine Graham. A graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law, Weymouth practiced law at Williams & Connolly before joining the Post in 1996.

Part of Weymouth’s responsibility is to bring the newspaper and its website closer together. Join us as Weymouth discusses the ambitious task in front of her and what its like to run a national media outlet with local roots.
