DC is home to the largest concentration of non-profits and associations in the United States, with 2,265 non-profit organizations that employ about 66,000 people (Delta Associates, 2009).  Are you interested in joining their ranks?  The WDCEP’s next Doing Business 2.0 program will introduce attendees to the topic of Starting and Sustaining a Non-profit Organization.  Panelists will discuss developing a strategic plan, grants, and other resources available in DC and explain how attendees can use these assets to set up and sustain a non-profit organization.  Attend Doing Business 2.0 on Thursday, May 12, and find out how many organizations are finding new and creative ways to enrich the areas of humanitarian aid, the arts, education, the environment, and animal protection.
