ICSC Mid-Atlantic Recap

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) recently held its annual Mid-Atlantic Idea Exchange conference in National Harbor, Maryland. Over 1,500 builders, real estate developers and government officials from the region attended the program.

The Washington, DC Economic Partnership leads the effort on behalf of the District to attract retail opportunities to Washington, DC during ICSC. WDCEP met with numerous retailers and developers at ICSC Mid-Atlantic, including The Fresh Market, Nando’s Peri Peri, Toys R Us, Next Realty, Eastbanc, Safeway and Sav A Lot.

This year Harriet Tregoning, Director of the Office of Planning, represented the District of Columbia during the Development Runway Showcase.
