Find your Startup’s Product Market Fit with DSLBD and DC I-Corps
June 4, 2014
Join DC I-Corp and the Department of Small and Local Business Development to learn how to find the product/market fit for your business. Taught by the teaching team of DC I-Corps, this session will describe how to reach into your customer base to map: market segments, buyer preferences, key decision makers and value propositions.
The event is a collaboration between DC I-Corp and DSLBD’s ConnecTech program. ConnecTech is focused on spurring the growth of the technology sector and getting more businesses in a position to pursue funding opportunities such as the Small Business Innovation Research program.
The session is designed to give entrepreneurs a chance to interact with and hear from the DC I-Corp teaching team and get information they can take back and implement in their businesses. Attendees will leave with more insight on how to go from idea to market as well as information about other resources that are available in DC to help them succeed.
DC I-Corps is a National Science Foundation sponsored program that works with technology startups to reach their full commercial potential. The program’s teaching team consists of successful entrepreneurs, investors and academics.
Participants should RSVP by emailing Benjamin.Solomon@rhsmith.umd.edu and Philip.Reeves@dc.gov answers to the following questions:
1. What is your business or proposed business?
