February Entrepreneur Roadmap

The WDCEP is gearing up for its second installment of the Entrepreneur Roadmap Series. The second event is designed to help business owners and entrepreneurs streamline the business licensing and registration process of their venture.

Department of Consumers and Regulatory Administrator Eric Rogers will discuss the licensing and registration process. A frequent speaker about the topic in D.C., Rogers has appeared on the Kojo Nnamdi show on NPR to discuss regulatory matters. Alcohol Beverage Regulatory Administration Licensing Manger Sean Gordy will walk participants through the steps of getting a liquor license based on establishment type.

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive more specialized advice by participating in a question and answer session with the speakers, as well as Licensing Specialist Karen Jackson and Community Resource Advisor Sarah Fashbaugh.

The event will be held on February 11th, 2014 at Venable, LLP located at 575 7th street, NW. Come network at 8:30am and the program will run from 9:00am until 10:30am.
