Everything You Need to Know About Doing Business in DC
The fourth edition of Doing Business in Washington, DC will be released July 30 at this year’s Small Business Awards program at the Willard Intercontinental. The much anticipated, free guidebook navigates entrepreneurs through the nuts and bolts of starting a business in DC from permit requirements to writing a business plan. It also offers great resources for expanding or relocating businesses in DC.
Our popular Spanish language edition will be released in October in time to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage month. New this year, we will publish Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese versions due out in late fall.
The books will be available online (www.wdcep.com) and at community development organizations, banks, government agencies and local universities. The guides are made possible by a Neighborhood Investment Fund grant from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning & Economic Development.
