Most businesses need outside sources of financing to get established or to expand, and luckily for DC businesses, DC has many banking and financing institutions that can help a business meet its needs. This month’s Doing Business 2.0 seminar, to be held on January 16th, will walk you through the basic steps to securing funding for your business, including exploring the various factors that must be considered when applying for a loan, types of loans, and the loan process. In addition to loans from banking and financing institutions, funding can also be found in the form of tax credits, venture capital and private equity investments, and small business investment companies.
