Doing Business 2.0: Starting and Growing a Franchise
February 1, 2012
Join WDCEP on Thursday, February 9 2012 from 9:00 – 10:30am for our February Doing Business 2.0 event: Starting and Growing a Franchise. Franchising is a great alternative for entrepreneurs who do not wish to lead a start-up. Franchising allows you to operate your own business while working under an established brand with experience and knowledge that you can gain through the company’s training programs. In the February showing of DB2.0, our speakers will cover the legal aspects of franchising and how to manage and grow your franchise. You will hear from a representative of 7-Eleven on expansion plans and the franchising process for the company. This event will feature Thomas France, a Partner at Venable, LLP, Ben Litalien, Founder and Principal of Franchisewell, LLC, Desi Desormeaux, Franchise Sales Rep at 7-Eleven, and Nancy A Wade, Senior Real Estate Representative at 7-11. DB2.0 is hosted at Venable, LLP, located in the Capitol Room, 8th floor, at 575 7th Street, NW. There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. Click HERE to register.
