District Financial Incentives De-Mystified at 4/13 Program

WDCEP’s April 13 Doing Business 2.0 program will look at the various financial incentives which provide tax and other financial benefits through federal and District incentives. Our experienced panel will outline the incentives your small businesses should be aware of: William A. Liggins, Director of the DC Revenue Bond Program for the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), will speak about the DC Revenue Bond Program and how entrepreneurs can take advantage of that particular incentive; David Zipper, Director of Business Development and Strategy at DMPED, will cover Enterprise Zone credits, non-profit tax abatements and supermarket tax exemption; and Christopher Early, Interim Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Housing and Community Development, will discuss the Façade Improvement Program and small business technical assistance.
