Washington, DC―The Washington, DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) unveiled its new online Development Search today which allows WDCEP.com visitors to search more than 1,200 development projects from across Washington, DC. These projects represent $80 billion in investment and 10+ years of data collection.
“This update will provide economic development professionals, businesses and residents with the unique experience of accessing all of DC’s major development activity information from one tool, providing them with a better understanding of the development that is occurring in DC,” said Chad Shuskey, WDCEP Vice President, Research & Visual Communications.
The new Development Search offers the following enhanced features,
- Search by project name, developer, architect or general contractor
- Ability to find projects by LEED certification goal
- Return results by year of completion
- Download up to 50 projects at a time
- Listing of green elements in a project
The WDCEP has been collecting development information since 2001 with the goal of creating a comprehensive database of all construction activity in Washington, DC. For the past decade, the WDCEP has released this information in its annual DC Development Report.
“We are well known for our DC Development Report, but felt that the on-line experience with this information needed to match what the Report offers,” said Shuskey.
The WDCEP is a 501(c)3 non-profit, public/private partnership dedicated to promoting business opportunities throughout DC and contributing to business retention and attraction activities. For more information visit www.wdcep.com/about.
