DC’s Development Dynamic on Showcase

Over 1,000 people are expected to attend the Development Showcase on Thursday, October 2nd from 10am-3pm at the Washington Convention Center to learn about the massive economic development happening in DC from projects to infrastructure.

The showcase will focus on five major areas of development: office, residential, retail, hospitality and education. More than 90 exhibitors will be on hand to give attendees a complete picture of every project happening in the city in just two short hours in one big room.

Professionals from every side of the industry will be there: city officials, developers, commercial and residential brokers, contractors, and architects. Representatives from all local agencies dealing with development will also be on site.

The showcase will be followed by WDCEP’s Annual Luncheon from 12-2pm and features Katharine Weymouth, Chief Executive Officer, Washington Post Media and Publisher, The Washington Post. The DC Development Report published every year by the Partnership will also be released.
