DCBC Partner Spotlight: Commuter Connections

The Washington, DC Marketing Center’s DC Business Connections program has 33 partners including District agencies, economic development groups and business service organizations that work to address the needs of the business community. One such partner is Commuter Connections.

Commuter Connections is a network of transportation organizations coordinated by the Metropolitan Council of Governments that works toward easing citizens’ daily commutes and reducing traffic congestion and vehicle emissions.

Commuter Connections assists businesses by providing free information about commuting options and helps employers establish commuter benefits and assistance programs for their employees. Programs include carpooling, ridesharing, telework or telecommuting programs, commuter benefits packages and the regional Guaranteed Ride Home program.
