DC Revenue Bond Program Holds Tax-Exempt Seminar
The DC Revenue Bond Program will hold a seminar on, Thursday, December 8, 2005, “The Principles, Mechanics and Financial Benefits of Tax-Exempt Bonds.”
This event will be held from 8:30-11:00 a.m. at Reed Smith LLP, 1301 K St., NW, East Tower Penthouse. The seminar will explain the bond process and present the projects of different organizations and businesses that have benefited from this financing tool.
Since 1998, the program has issued more than $3.8 billion of tax-exempt securities to finance the acquisition, purchase and rehabilitation of buildings and equipment for qualified organizations throughout our Nation’s Capital. The seminar will feature case studies on a diverse group of revenue bond projects across the city. These organizations consist of major 501(C) 3 associations, universities, for-profit businesses, manufacturers, charter and private schools, as well as hospitals.
