DC Leads US with Healthiest Retail Market

A recently released report by ChainLinks Retail Advisors has listed Washington DC as the healthiest retail market for 2011.  The report states that, “For 2011, we see the Washington, D.C., market as leading all other U.S trade areas in terms of retail health.  Retailer demand has skyrocketed there over the past 24 months, current shopping center vacancy levels are low, and unemployment is lower than in any other major market in the country.”
