city living, dc style! Expo Put on Hold

The next city living, dc style! EXPO has been indefinitely postponed.

Originally scheduled for March 17-19, 2005, the EXPO has been put on hold due to a variety of factors including the strong response of homebuyers and renters that exceeded expectations, a reprioritization of DC Government resources into other areas of the community, and insufficient sponsorship revenues to help defray total EXPO costs.

“Our first EXPO in October 2003 was a great success,” said Chris Bender from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. “We connected with more than 6,000 people from Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Thanks to that event, some of those individuals are now renting or have purchased residences in the city.”
