Circulating through DC
The DC Circulator is a new public transit system designed to take residents and visitors to the city’s cultural, shopping, dining and business destinations.
There is a $1 charge to ride the DC Circulator and riders can pay by: cash, SmarTrip card, a transfer from Metrobus or Metrorail for $.35.
There are 29 Circulator buses in operation, each offers low floors, big windows and multiple doors for easy on-and-off service. The Circulator takes riders from Union Station, through the city and into Georgetown. The service runs Sunday-Saturday, 7 a.m.- 9 p.m.
