Business Initiatives Breakfast Session IV: Major League Baseball in DC: What Does it Mean for District Businesses?

On Thursday, November 18, the Washington, DC Marketing Center will focus its final Business Initiatives Breakfast (BIB) of 2004 on the hottest topic in the region, Major League Baseball in the District.

This BIB will help DC businesses understand MLB’s overall economic impact for the city, its businesses and residents as well as the details of the stadium’s financing plan including the $400 million tax increment financing initiative. Featuring Councilmember Jack Evans, Chair of the Committee on Finance & Revenue and Steve Green, Special Assistant to the Mayor, this interactive seminar will offer DC businesses both the legislative and executive perspectives of the MLB deal.
