Washington, D.C.—The Washington, DC Marketing Center’s first Business Initiatives Breakfast (BIB) of 2005 will focus on economic development in the District.

The interactive seminar will discuss the recent changes in the city’s appointed and elected leadership and what those changes mean to economic development; the “new communities initiative” and how it fits into the city’s neighborhood development priorities; and what the new chair of economic development thinks of the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative.

This event will provide an opportunity to hear from two of DC’s most prominent economic development leaders and their vision for the city’s future.
