BIB: Redefining Washington’s Waterfront
On Thursday, June 16, 2005, 8-10 a.m., the Washington, DC Marketing Center will present its latest BIB seminar, “Redefining Washington’s Waterfront-AWI, Baseball Stadium and Southeast Federal Center…”
The seminar will outline many topics of public interest about the District’s waterfront including:
- What will become of DC’s new frontier-the Waterfront
- The development plan for the neighborhoods around the proposed ballpark
- Available opportunities for housing and retail development
- The plan for the South Capitol Street corridor
How the Southeast Federal Center project will align with the overall planning and development of the waterfront area
Featured speakers for this event are Toni Griffin, Deputy Director, Anacostia Waterfront Corporation and Harold DeBlanc, III, Director, Southeast Federal Center Forest City Washington.
