Best Wishes to Jennifer Bosser

The Washington, DC Marketing Center says good-bye and good luck to Jennifer Bosser.

Jennifer joined the Marketing Center in August 2002 as a Corporate Relations Specialist. She was promoted to Business Retention Manager in 2003 and subsequently assisted in the reorganization of the program.

Jennifer and the DC Business Connections team transformed the program from what was once a business visit program, to a business retention program. The program currently listens and responds to business concerns and needs, provides city leaders with valuable information in order to refine policies and programs to make DC more business friendly and connects businesses with existing programs and resources. To date, the program has achieved more than 1,850 visits with CEO’s and business leaders.

Not only did Jennifer successfully managed the DC Business Connections program, she has also contributed with doubling attendance and revenue for DCMC quarterly and annual events within two years and achieved 100% response for referrals on behalf of businesses to District Government and partnering organizations in economic development.

Jennifer has been an integral member of the Marketing Center staff and her talents and drive will be missed. We wish her all the best as she starts her new life in North Carolina.
