Over 1,000 people are expected to attend to learn about the massive economic development happening in DC from projects to infrastructure. The conference will focus on five major areas of development: office, residential, retail, hospitality and education.
Keynote speaker John Talmage, President and CEO, Social Compact, will talk about urban renewal and “redevelopment” occurring in major cities across the country and discuss DC’s dynamic economy. John will also share data from a recently completed research study by Social Compact on DC’s untapped development potential across wards throughout the city.
Professionals from every side of the industry will be there: city officials, developers, commercial and residential brokers, contractors, and architects. Representatives from all local agencies dealing with development will also be on site. More than 70 exhibitors are expected to register for the Development Showcase!

The annual meeting will highlight development activity in the city, explore trends and what lies ahead for development in the District of Columbia. The DC Development Report published every year by the Partnership will also be released.
