And the Award Goes to…small business

Small businesses in the District of Columbia make an enormous contribution to DC’s booming economy. On July 30, 2008 WDCEP will host the first annual small business award program. Expected to attract of crowd of more than 250 people, the program will honor best practices of DC’s diverse small businesses.

The awards will identify three outstanding businesses for their achievements and accomplishments in the following categories: Small Business of the Year, 100 Year-Old Business of the Year, and Small Business Initiative of the Year. WDCEP is now accepting nominations. All BusinessPremier Small Business Awards nominations and applications are due by May 30, 2008. Applications are available for download at www.wdcep.com/pdf/pres/bpawardapp.doc and will be accepted by email to businesspremier@wdcep.com.
