Washington, D.C.—The Washington DC Economic Partnership will close registration today for its Annual Meeting and Development Showcase, as a record number of attendees and exhibitors have registered to hear keynote remarks from Washington Post Publisher Katharine Weymouth, as well as to participate in the annual showcase of new development projects in the District of Columbia.
Over 1000 reservations have been made for WDCEP’s Annual Meeting and Luncheon, which is taking place next Thursday, October 2, at noon, at the Washington Convention Center. The Annual Luncheon, which is preceded by a Development Showcase of over 70 of the larger real estate projects in the District, has featured a who’s who of DC area business people and leaders including Ted Leonsis, Bill Marriott and Richard Florida.
“There is a lot of interest in just getting together and discussing the economy and where we are headed” says Steve Moore, the President and CEO of the Washington DC Economic Partnership, “the response to this event from both attendees and exhibitors exceeded our expectations.”
