Ncrease Joins AccelerateDC

Our AccelerateDC team is excited to welcome Ncrease, an innovative data analytics and social intelligence platform, to its startup mentoring community.

Ncrease, led by Aaron Fitzgerald, couples a deep knowledge of customer trends across various industries with social tracking algorithms to ensure that businesses know how to keep their customers engaged outside the store. Ultimately, Ncrease looks to decrease the time that individual businesses spend on social media marketing, and instead track businesses’ customers for them to boost their online presence and customer retention. The venture was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Washington, DC.

Also at our July meeting, Luvozo, a current AccelerateDC venture that manufactures robots for assisted care facilities, presented a potential investor pitch to our mentors, who provided feedback to the company’s co-founder, David Pietrocola. David and his team are currently fundraising to complete product development and to execute on a current robot-as-a-service contract at a long-term care facility. Luvozo‘s concierge robots, created at TechShop in Crystal City, help assisted living facilities’ residents and staff with patent-pending fall hazard detection,  notifications, as well as routine live video check-ins with residents to prevent overburdening staff.
