Mr. Lawson is the WDCEP’s in-house graphic designer responsible for the design of the organization’s campaigns, publications, digital assets, and maintaining the overall visual brand of the organization.

He comes to WDCEP after managing his own graphic design studio for more than ten years, providing marketing and design for nonprofit organizations, public-private entities, and government agencies. Among these are various organizations specific to the District such as business improvement districts (BIDs) and environmental groups.

Mr. Lawson graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design, has been honored with an Addy award, and published work in HOW Magazine and Rockport Publications. He specializes in lettering and type, having recently studied type design at Cooper Union in New York City.

Mr. Lawson is a District resident and proudly bikes to the office through at least eight different DC neighborhoods along the way.
